Great to meet you!

Hey You! It's me, Miss Bea! I am a proud Hispanic/Millennial Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the social service field and 3 years practicing therapy. I’m also certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and I’m passionate about providing support that is compassionate, open minded, and culturally grounded. The majority of my career has been working with teenagers, which I still do but I strongly encourage parents to do homework too. I love working with adults, because adulting is hard. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where we can think outside the box to make healing and growth possible for all.

My approach to therapy

I’m not gonna lie, sometimes things suck. Adulting is hard. And emotions are hard. But sometimes two brains are better than one, and if you are looking for someone to partner up with, to figure all this sh*t out, I'm your therapist. I partner with my clients to create a plan that truly fits their needs. As a DBT-certified therapist, I use a variety of approaches to support people dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, non-epileptic seizures, dating anxiety, and major life transitions. I got the cheers to be your cheerleader, the map to be your GPS, the skills to help you navigate this thing called life, I will keep it real and maybe even curse a little along the way.

As a Hispanic clinician, I also understand how cultural expectations can sometimes teach us to hide or invalidate our emotions. I want my clients to know they don’t have to give up their culture to grow—they can honor their roots while also creating healthy boundaries, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of self-acceptance.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll ask some simple questions to learn more about you, and while a few might feel a little tough, we’ll take things at your pace. We’ll talk about what therapy can look like for you, set some gentle goals for the next few months, and start building a plan that feels right for your journey. Most importantly, this is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out—you just have to show up as you are. I also encourage you to bring a notebook, since journaling can be a powerful way to reflect and track your growth along the way.
