My expertise includes working with people experiencing anxiety, OCD, grief and complex trauma, including childhood abuse, traumatic loss, sexual assault, religious trauma, vicarious trauma in their work, such as first responders and those who experience caretaking stress. These experiences can contribute to lower confidence, social isolation and unrealistic feelings of guilt that make it hard to say no or set boundaries.
My aim is to assist you to better understand what you're experiencing, find the most effective approach to your challenges, and build emotional resiliency, along with improving your relationships.
Many clients begin working with me after reaching a point where they realize self-talk, positive thinking or simple coping skills aren't working or very helpful. My goal is to support you in moving beyond basic coping strategies and work to heal the root issues causing emotional distress in order to move forward with peace of mind and self-compassion.
