Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Becca. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a doctorate degree in nursing and years of experience caring for children and adults with a wide range of mental health needs.

I’ve spent years working in mental health and caring for people through anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, major life changes, and all the complicated stuff that doesn’t always fit neatly into a diagnostic box. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management, but I also believe good mental health care requires actually listening to you. I want to know what’s working, what isn’t, what matters to you, and what you want your life to feel like.

My approach to therapy

My approach to psychiatric care is straightforward, collaborative, and grounded in evidence, but there’s plenty of room for humor, honesty, and real conversation. I believe in listening before prescribing, explaining the “why” behind treatment decisions, and making sure you have a voice in your own care. I want us to make decisions about your treatment together.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is mostly about getting to know you, not just your diagnosis, your symptoms, or the medications you’ve tried. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what’s been hard lately, what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what you’re hoping will actually change.

I’m pretty laid-back, so expect a real conversation. You can laugh, cry, ramble, lose your train of thought, or tell me you have absolutely no idea where to start. You don’t have to show up with the “right” words or have everything figured out.

We’ll talk through treatment options together, and I’ll make sure you understand what I’m recommending and why. My goal is for you to leave feeling like someone actually listened to you, and with a plan that makes sense for your life, not just your diagnosis.
