Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Becky Forbes.

I enjoy working adults and couples. I offer help to those with depression, anxiety, stress, caregiver burden, grief and loss, and relationship issues.

In 2017, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia College. In 2020, I graduated with my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling integrates of client-centered therapy - meaning it is all about you; cognitive behavior therapy - what we think contributes to how we feel; and solution focused therapy - let's look at what is working. I think it is important to find balance in life: work life, personal life, family life... it all matters. I believe in a collaborative approach to counseling, based on your needs. We will go at your pace and focus on the areas most important to you.

What you can expect from me

I want to hear your story. My goal is to make sure that you feel heard, seen, supported and understood no matter what is going on in your life. We will sit down together and explore what brings you to counseling. Let's dig into your story at your own pace and find some balance.
