Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of combined national and international experience in the fields of psychology and mental health counseling, and neuroscience. My career has taken me across borders—serving diverse populations in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Brazil, and the United States, where I had the privilege of working with both children and adults in various contexts, including community mental health agencies, foster care systems, faith-based initiatives, and humanitarian outreach.

I hold a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida, and also licensed to practice in Connecticut, and Massachusetts. I am also certified in Neuropsychotherapy (NPT-C) and trained in Accelerated Response Therapy (ART). Currently, I am pursuing a doctoral degree in Community Care and Counseling with a specialization in Traumatology.

My approach to therapy

I bring a deeply rooted passion for healing, cultural sensitivity, and clinical excellence to my work as a therapist. Clients can expect evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific needs, empowering them to gain insight, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. I am committed to helping my clients heal from challenging experiences through a relatable, compassionate, and an empathetic approach.

What you can expect from me

Clients will deepen their awareness of how their lived experiences can manifest as enduring psychological pain, shaping their sense of self, core beliefs and values, motivation, and interpersonal relationships. Through the process of deep exploration, Client's will be supported in building resilience and cultivating a renewed sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for understanding themselves more fully.
