Great to meet you!

Many people do not realize that when life gets hard, it is a sign of strength to reach out for help. In my 20+ years of counseling couples, families, parents, and individuals, I have provided my clients with a safe environment to restore themselves and rediscover their strengths. I believe a primary focus of therapy is to create a supportive relationship with my clients to help them discover what is keeping them stuck, and help them move forward in achieving their goals.

My approach to therapy

I support my clients in finding their voice, increasing their awareness of their options, and finding creative solutions to their life dilemmas. Along the way, we often explore thinking patterns and beliefs that may have kept them stuck in unhelpful behaviors. I use cognitive and emotive therapy approaches as I believe each person has unique needs and approaches to healing. There is no one size fits all for therapy.

What you can expect from me

When clients see me for therapy, we look at what brings them to therapy and what changes they want for themselves. Together, we explore new ways of thinking and believing, calling upon strengths that may have been hidden. Through talk therapy, humor, and imagination, I bring warmth and encouragement to my clients, creating an honest relationship for growth. If you are looking for change in your life, I look forward to meeting with you and exploring your possibilities for growth.
