Great to meet you!

I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space where individuals and families can heal, grow, and find hope. I specialize in supporting those navigating grief and loss, the unique challenges of special needs parenting, caregiver stress, anxiety, and major life transitions. Together, we’ll build practical coping strategies while honoring your unique journey.

“Healing begins when you feel seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to help you build resilience, discover your strengths, and create meaningful change—one step at a time.”

My approach to therapy

I believe every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and resilience when provided with a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment.

My clinical practice integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Gestalt Therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and focus on meaningful, goal-oriented change while remaining present in the here and now. I am a very personable and understanding person.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

During your first session, you can expect to:

  • Discuss what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore the concerns, challenges, or life events that led you to seek counseling.
  • Review your personal history. This may include your family background, relationships, medical and mental health history, significant life experiences, and current supports.
  • Identify your goals. Together, we’ll talk about what you hope to gain from therapy and what meaningful progress looks like for you.
  • Learn about the counseling process. I’ll explain confidentiality, your rights as a client, and answer any questions you may have about therapy.
  • Develop an initial treatment plan. We’ll begin identifying strengths, coping strategies, and evidence-based approaches that best fit your needs.
