Great to meet you!

Hi! I am Belinda and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of experience as a social worker supporting individuals across the lifespan. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in a variety of settings, helping clients navigate challenges related to mental health, trauma, life transitions, relationships, and personal growth. I also have experience providing therapy to neurodivergent adults, with a focus on creating an affirming space that honors each person’s unique strengths, communication style, and lived experiences.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine partnership built on trust, understanding, and collaboration. My approach is warm, person-centered, and tailored to your unique strengths, needs, and goals. Together, we will develop collaborative goals that reflect what matters most to you, so you will always have a clear understanding of what we are working toward and why it matters. We’ll work to better understand your experiences, identify what you hope to change or build upon, and create a path forward that feels meaningful and achievable.

My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Rather than fitting you into a specific treatment model, I draw from these approaches to meet you where you are and create a collaborative plan that aligns with your values, strengths, and individual needs.

My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you feel safe, supported, empowered, and equipped with the tools to navigate challenges and move toward the life you want to create.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and create a foundation for our work together. We’ll spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our time together. I’ll also ask questions about your background, relationships, strengths, challenges, and the experiences that have shaped who you are today.

By the end of our first session, we’ll begin identifying areas of focus and exploring how therapy can help you move toward your goals. Together, we will create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported—a space where you can show up as your authentic self and begin exploring the changes you want to make in your life.
