Great to meet you!

My professional experience includes working with individuals navigating the effects of domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds and recognize that each person's experiences, strengths, and goals are unique.

My approach is collaborative and individualized. I primarily use Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy, while drawing from other evidence-based approaches when appropriate. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor therapy to meet each client's specific needs and goals.

I earned my Masters from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and I am committed to providing thoughtful, culturally responsive care that helps clients build resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful change. Whether you're facing a difficult transition, healing from past experiences, or simply looking for additional support, I look forward to walking alongside you in your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and eclectic because I recognize that no two people are the same. I primarily draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs, goals, and strengths. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide guidance, support, and practical tools while helping you gain insight, build resilience, and create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect to be met with warmth, openness, and genuine care. I understand that starting therapy—or meeting with a new therapist—can feel unfamiliar or even overwhelming. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace. We'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your goals, and answering any questions you may have about the process. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and more comfortable moving forward together.
