Great to meet you!

I’m Belsti Muluneh, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than nine years of healthcare experience. My background includes working in intensive care (ICU), behavioral health, inpatient, and outpatient settings. These experiences have shaped the way I care for my clients and have given me a strong appreciation for how closely our physical and mental health are connected.

I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, mental health assessments, and ongoing follow-up care.

I believe mental health care should feel like a partnership. I take the time to listen, understand what you are going through, and learn what you hope to achieve from treatment. Together, we can develop a treatment plan that makes sense for you and your individual needs.

I strive to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. Whether you are seeking help for the first time, returning to treatment, or looking for a different approach to your care, my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and involved in every step of the process. Ultimately, I want to help you feel better, function better in your daily life, and build the skills and confidence needed to maintain your mental well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and evidence-based. I take time to listen and understand each person’s concerns, goals, and unique circumstances. Together, we develop a treatment plan that may include medication management and psychotherapy, with a focus on helping you feel supported, involved, and confident in your care.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you and understand what brought you to care. We’ll talk about your current concerns, mental and physical health history, medications, daily life, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. You’ll also have plenty of time to ask questions and share what is important to you. By the end of the visit, we’ll discuss my recommendations and work together on a treatment plan that feels comfortable and realistic for you.
