Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years experience supporting adults through anxiety, burnout, grief, serious illness, and life's major transitions. For much of my career, I worked in hospice and oncology, helping individuals and families navigate cancer, loss, and some of life's most difficult moments. I've been deeply moved and inspired by the many people I've had the honor to work with. I also have extensive experience teaching mindfulness-based stress reduction for a variety of populations, including professionals experiencing stress and burnout. I'm certified as a personal trainer because I believe that mental, emotional and physical well-being are interconnected.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and focused on helping you develop greater awareness, gain clarity, and make choices that are aligned with what matters most to you. I'll invite you to become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in a way that helps you respond more intentionally instead of reacting on autopilot. I'll offer practical tools and skills to practice between sessions that support continued growth and lasting change. My goal is to help you build the confidence and skills to handle whatever comes your way long after our work together has ended.

What you can expect from me

  • In our first session, I'll spend some time learning what brings you to therapy, the challenges your facing, and what you are hoping to work on. Together, we'll develop a plan that fits your goals. We'll get to work right away, exploring practical tools and skills that you can begin using both during our sessions and in your everyday life. I value open communication, so I'll regularly check in for your feedback about what's working, what's not, and how we can tailor our sessions to best meet your needs.
