Great to meet you!

You can be successful, capable, and still feel like your mind is working against you. Anxiety may have you replaying conversations for hours, ADHD can make everyday responsibilities feel unnecessarily difficult, or obsessive thoughts may leave you questioning things you know shouldn’t need this much attention. You might also be navigating your sexuality, feeling caught between who you are and what your family expects, or noticing depression pulling you away from relationships and things you once enjoyed. I work with adults, teens, couples, and families who want to understand why these patterns keep happening instead of simply learning to tolerate them. You deserve a space where your identity and experiences are understood without judgment. Together, we’ll work toward feeling more comfortable with yourself and more connected to the people who matter to you.

My approach to therapy

We’ll look beyond the immediate problem to understand what keeps it going in your everyday life. That might mean learning how to interrupt an anxious spiral, creating realistic systems for ADHD, responding differently when obsessive thoughts demand reassurance, or understanding why the same argument keeps happening with your partner. We can also explore how childhood experiences, family relationships, identity, and past hurt influence the way you see yourself and connect with others today. For couples and families, we’ll pay attention to what happens between you in real time and practice healthier ways to communicate and respond. I’ll build on what already works for you while helping you change patterns that no longer do. The goal is not to turn you into someone different, but to help you feel more in control of your life and relationships.

What you can expect from me

Our first conversation is about figuring out what life has actually been like for you lately. You might come in because your thoughts won’t slow down, you’re struggling to stay organized, you and your partner keep having the same fight, family relationships feel strained, or you no longer feel like yourself. We’ll talk about what’s happening, when you first noticed it, how it affects your everyday life, and what you most want to be different. If sexuality, identity, family experiences, or painful parts of your past are involved, you decide when and how much you’re ready to share. For couples and families, everyone will have room to be heard without turning the session into deciding who is at fault. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of where we can start and what we can work toward together.
