Hi, I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) based in California. I have been practicing for 1 year and am excited to help bring education, treatment, and mental health support for our local communities. I obtained my Master's degree at Walden University and have been registered nurse since 2004. I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. I have specialized training in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management, I am committed to empowering patients on their journey to mental wellness. My goal and approach is to apply therapeutic communication, holistic care, and collaboration to support recovery and lasting emotional health.

I have a holistic approach and wish to work as a team and together can formulate the best course of treatment. My approach is especially effective for individuals seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore medication management in combination with therapeutic strategies.

In your first session, we will focus on getting to know you and your mental health history, current concerns, medical background, and goals for treatment. I’ll conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, which may include questions about mood, sleep, stressors, and any past treatments. Together we will determine if treatment will be a good fit and if so, begin building a personalized care plan that may involve therapy, medication, or both. Ongoing sessions will focus on treatment plans and reassessment of initial complaints and medication management.
