Great to meet you!

"Emotions are the colors that paint the canvas of our lives." -Kate Atkinson, Author.

I've been working as a crisis clinician for five years, focusing on helping people with immediate adjustment disorders, suicidal thoughts, safety planning, and exploring coping skills. I have a master's degree in social work from Capella University and have gained experience in Mobile Crisis Response, Child Welfare, and an Intensive Outpatient/Partial Hospitalization Program.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Through my background in crisis intervention in the ER, I've gained a unique perspective on guiding clients through difficult times. This experience has allowed me to provide tailored support, inspire hope, and empower individuals. Above all, it has taught me the importance of being empathetic and nonjudgmental, especially during emotional turmoil.

What you can expect from our first session

I'm all about using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Reality Therapy in my practice. In our first session, we'll discuss your situation and what you want to get from our sessions. Then, we'll come up with a plan just for you. Together, we'll tackle the stuff holding you back so you can learn from the obstacles and continue your journey to growth and self-realization.
