Great to meet you!

Many of my clients come to me after previous therapy didn't feel like the right fit, and they're looking for an approach that is both thoughtful and applicable to everyday life.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in management, where I spent years helping people navigate challenges, develop confidence, and solve difficult problems. Though the concerns people bring to therapy are more complex, these experiences shaped how I approach therapy today: practical, collaborative, and focused on helping people move forward. I earned my undergraduate degree in philosophy before completing my graduate training in social work. I continue to learn and grow through advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other approaches which are then tailored to each client.

I primarily work with adults, especially men, navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, neurodivergence, relationship challenges, and the effects of long-standing patterns that no longer serve them. While I draw from neuroscience, psychology, and philosophy, I don’t believe therapy should feel academic. We can keep our focus on making sense of what you’ve been through, how it’s shaped you, and what might help things feel more workable going forward. The goal is to have therapy that feels supportive, practical, and genuinely useful in your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as more than symptom relief, though that can be an important starting point. When the focus is helping people understand the patterns shaped by their experiences, it helps build steadier, more intentional ways of responding. I work in a collaborative, grounded way, creating a space that is respectful, supportive, and focused on real change, not just insight.

Whether you’re dealing with the impact of trauma, feeling stuck in reactions you can’t quite shift, or simply wanting things to feel more manageable, we’ll take this at a pace that feels steady and workable. The goal is clarity, resilience, and change that holds up in your day-to-day life and in the long-term, not just in the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance to get oriented. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you’ve been dealing with, and what you’d like to be different. I'll ask questions about your background, relationships, and experiences to begin building a clear understanding of the whole picture.

While the first few sessions focus on developing that understanding, we'll also discuss practical strategies when they're appropriate and begin creating a plan for the work ahead. The goal is for you to leave with a clearer sense of whether this feels like a good fit and what next steps could look like.
