Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals, families, and couples ages 8 and up. I have experience supporting clients through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. My background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Christian Studies from Mississippi College, and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. I value building strong, authentic relationships with the people I work with, and I strive to meet each client where they are. For those who desire it, I also integrate a biblical perspective alongside practical counseling tools.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I draw primarily from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT. These approaches help clients develop effective coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. I believe therapy should not only provide insight, but also equip clients with tools they can use in everyday situations. Depending on the client, I may also incorporate faith-based principles to help address deeper core struggles and support overall growth.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a relaxed, welcoming environment where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. We’ll start identifying goals and discussing a path forward that feels right for you. There’s no pressure to share everything at once, my goal is to move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to build a strong foundation for our work together.
