Great to meet you!

I specialize in helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, men’s mental health, and the complexities of parenting. My approach is rooted in empathy and evidence-based practice, ensuring that every intervention is thoughtfully tailored to meet each client’s unique circumstances and goals.

With over a decade of clinical experience (since 2012), I have worked across a wide spectrum of settings—including community mental health, outpatient clinics, residential programs, and private practice—serving youth, adults, and families. My career has also encompassed clinical supervision, crisis intervention, and program development, giving me a comprehensive understanding of both systemic barriers and individualized care.

I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, with a focus on the intersection of mental health and workplace well-being. Additional certifications in substance use counseling and trauma-focused therapies equip me to address complex, co-occurring issues with flexibility and clinical confidence.

My approach to therapy

I practice from an integrative therapeutic lens, blending Reality Therapy/Choice Theory (similar to CBT), Gestalt Therapy (awareness-building), and Trauma-Informed Care to address unmet emotional needs, behavioral patterns, and distress. My focus is on fostering resilience, enhancing self-regulation skills, and empowering clients to make meaningful changes in their lives.
