Great to meet you!

I’m a gay psychotherapist providing individual therapy for adolescents, young adults, and adults. I began my counseling career in the substance use and addiction field in 2016 and earned my MSW in 2022, with training in hospital-based social work and community mental health.

I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and C-PTSD, identity exploration, relationships, sexuality, substance use concerns, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and integrative. I draw from CBT, DBT, parts work, relational therapy, and somatic approaches, tailoring therapy to your needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

I believe the therapeutic relationship matters. I bring warmth, curiosity, active listening, empathy, and unconditional positive regard while also offering practical tools when they are helpful.

Together, we can explore patterns, emotions, relationships, and the ways your body responds to stress and trauma.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant history, relationships, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet. We’ll work together to identify goals and determine what approach feels most helpful. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and with a clearer sense of where we can begin.
