Great to meet you!

Hi there! I am Benton Sheely, a dedicated therapist committed to helping individuals and couples heal, grow, and reconnect with compassion and care. Grief and trauma can leave you feeling isolated, but you don’t have to face them alone. It is an honor to walk alongside you, breaking that isolation and guiding you toward healing. No matter where you are in your journey, I look forward to working with you in a way that feels meaningful and supportive.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe that no two healing journeys are the same, which is why I take a collaborative approach to therapy, working with each client to find what best supports their growth and healing. Drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities—including CBT, IFS, ACT, and attachment-based therapy—I tailor sessions to meet individual needs. For trauma processing, I integrate EMDR, a powerful tool for healing past wounds, while for couples, I use the Gottman Method to strengthen communication and connection. My goal is to create a supportive, personalized space where you feel empowered in your healing journey.

What you can expect from our first session

In therapy, you can expect a compassionate and collaborative space where your unique journey is honored. Together, we’ll work toward healing, emotional regulation, and stronger relationships. My goal is to help you process trauma, build resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, or relationship challenges, I’m here to support you with care and expertise.
