Great to meet you!

Hi folks! I'm Beth, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with people struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. I've also worked with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness, and supported patients and families at end of life through hospice care.

I'm passionate about Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — using it to educate and empower you around challenging family and interpersonal dynamics, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance through mindfulness. I weave DBT into trauma-informed care to help you find real peace and contentment. Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to sort it out alone.

My approach to therapy

I've worked with people from many different backgrounds, all united by pain and discontent. I use a range of tools to help you identify the why behind the pain — because understanding it is what makes change actually stick. Alongside DBT, I draw on Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), adapting to what you genuinely need.

Radical acceptance is my niche, and honestly, it helps across the board. One of the things I pride myself on is being genuinely relatable and offering a real judgment-free zone. If you're struggling, you're not alone — connection is where this work starts.

What you can expect from me

I believe rapport comes first. In our early sessions, I want to understand what changes you're hoping to make and how I can help. We'll work together to find the why behind your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, so we can get clear on what you actually need from our time together.

There's no pressure to have anything figured out — this is collaborative from the very start. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, respected, and a little more hopeful than when you walked in.
