Great to meet you!

Thank you for reaching out to me! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families using evidence-based therapies. My passion for therapy derives from my personal journey of therapy/self-confrontation/self-reflection throughout the years and as a result has turned into a deep commitment to helping individuals who feel discouraged and overwhelmed by their circumstances and or who feel the need to have accountability to make change. I am currently available during the week and taking adult clients only.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My specific treatment focus areas are relationships, anxiety, trauma, depression, grief and loss. I aim to encourage, educate and empower my clients to reach their fullest potential. Clients often describe me as direct, genuine, caring and warm. I truly consider it an honor to be trusted and given the privilege to walk with individuals through their personal challenges.

What you can expect from our first session

I provide a safe, accepting space where you can gain insight, self-reflect, practice skills, and heal. I believe the therapeutic relationship and learning the needed skills is the core of the counseling process and where the healing begins. I use an eclectic approach of evidence-based interventions like, cognitive behavioral, trauma focused, interpersonal, dialectical behavioral and psychodynamic incorporated with utilization of self-care and spiritual practices.

I will partner with you to meet you where you are and together we can create individualized goals that work for you. My clients often leave sessions feeling more hopeful, encouraged and motivated. If you believe that we would be a good fit, please reach out. I look forward to hearing from you and exploring the possibility of working together.
