Great to meet you!

My name is Beth DeYoung, and I’m a nurse practitioner with a background in mental health and family practice. I work primarily with adult and older adult clients experiencing anxiety and depression, offering both therapy and medication management when appropriate. I’m especially interested in helping people navigate life transitions, chronic health conditions, and the everyday stressors that can build up over time.

My approach to therapy

I believe in looking at the whole person and meeting you where you are. That means considering your medical history, life experiences, relationships, and daily routines—not just your symptoms. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative: I’ll bring clinical expertise and evidence-based tools, and you’ll bring your lived experience. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels realistic, respectful of your values, and sustainable in your day-to-day life.

What you can expect from me

In our first sessions, I’ll spend time getting to know you—asking about your history, strengths, and current challenges, and learning what you hope to get out of treatment. We’ll talk through options and decide together whether therapy, medication, or a combination is the best fit for you. You can expect clear explanations, space to ask questions, and regular check-ins so we can adjust your care as needed. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and empowered as we work toward the changes that matter most to you.
