Great to meet you!

Any provider can prescribe a psychotropic medication - but there is considerable skill involved in creating a thoughtful and effective regimen tailored to each patient and their specific needs. I would say my specialties are depression, anxiety and/or ADHD but I treat all types of psychiatric conditions. I try to get creative and I am not scared to use 'outside of the box' thinking when other methods have failed. I refuse to give up.

My approach to therapy

I LISTEN to my patients. That is my strength; it is what sets me apart. I like to take my patient's personal needs/goals/finances into consideration when prescribing medications and creating a treatment plan.

I find that my patient's respond well to my honest and open demeanor. I always want them to feel comfortable to open up. Developing a strong therapeutic bond is a key to successful treatment.

What you can expect from me

I really enjoy working with patients who have depression and anxiety. Finding a solution to treatment resistant anxiety or depression and having them feel better is just so rewarding. Sometimes I find a patient has been misdiagnosed for years and a new approach is exactly what they needed. ADHD is another area I see a lot of and enjoy treating. Don't get me wrong, I regularly treat a wide variety of illnesses not limited to these.
