Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Beth, a licensed clinical social worker in Indiana with close to 30 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families, most of that in schools and hospital-based outpatient care. I work with relationship issues, grief, sleep struggles, and women's issues, and I love being part of a team working toward what matters to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy with family-systems and attachment-based work, so we look at what's really going on, whether it's anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, grief, trauma, PTSD, panic, or the ripple effects of stress on your whole family, and build real skills together. I use motivational interviewing to help you find your own reasons for change, especially with substance use, OCD, or bipolar mood swings, and strength-based care, so we build on what's already working for you. Sessions with me are collaborative: I listen first, then we build a plan that fits your actual life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is just about getting to know each other: what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping changes. From there we'll set a plan with clear, doable steps. I keep things warm and down-to-earth, no judgment, no jargon, just two people working as a team toward what matters to you.
