Great to meet you!

I believe healing is possible, and I see therapy as a space built on connection, trust, and an approach that is thoughtfully tailored to each person’s needs. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more connected to yourself as you move through life. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, and other challenging circumstances. I also feel especially able to support people who are adjusting to parenthood, postpartum experiences, or the demands of raising young children. I have experience working with individuals and families, and while I do not offer couples therapy, I can incorporate family work when it is helpful to support the healing process.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can make sense of what you are going through, process painful experiences, and build practical tools for healing and growth. I draw from evidence-based practices and tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals, using approaches such as CBT, CPT, DBT, mindfulness-based therapy, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, relational therapy, family systems work, and trauma-focused care. I work from a trauma-informed lens and support clients at their own pace, whether they are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply ready for change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and thoughtful space where we begin getting to know each other and talking about what brings you to therapy. I will want to understand what you have been carrying, what feels most important right now, and what you hope might feel different in your life moving forward. We may talk about current stressors, past experiences, relationships, family dynamics, or major transitions, depending on what feels most relevant for you. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and a little more clear about where we can go together from there.
