Great to meet you!

My passion is to help others find more joy and meaning in their lives. I work creatively and collaboratively with adults, teens, and children to explore the heart of the matter. I have experience working in the schools, with a team at a counseling clinic, and in private practice. I specialize with teenagers and their families and moving into couples work as well.

My approach to therapy

Together we consider (investigate, examine, observe) symptoms and emotional pain; we design realistic goals; we develop skills to alleviate obstacles; and, as we work to achieve your dreams, we discover your increased motivation and self-confidence. I have a gentle and empathic approach to form a positive relationship.

What you can expect from me

My specialty is working with adolescents through their magnificent growing season. Forging a personal identity often creates peer problems, family conflicts, sagging self-worth and doubts about how to move forward. Teaching them various coping skills, risk assessment, and pro-social strategies assists them identifying and implementing their own unique personal strengths. Client feedback has been excitement to return and increased hopefulness for an improved future.
