Great to meet you!

Beth is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in couples and families navigating addiction, recovery, betrayal, and relationship challenges. She works with substance use, sex and pornography addiction, love and fantasy addiction, gambling addiction, infidelity, and betrayal trauma.

Beth is kink-affirming and welcomes individuals and couples across diverse relationship structures, including ethical non-monogamy and polyamory. She also has experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent individuals, and families of all kinds. She believes every relationship deserves to be understood on its own terms, without judgment or a one-size-fits-all approach.

My approach to therapy

Beth takes a warm, collaborative, and individualized approach to therapy. She draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, Imago and family systems approaches, attachment theory, CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and other integrative therapies.

Her goal is to help clients better understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck, strengthen communication, process difficult experiences, and build greater trust, connection, and emotional safety. Beth views recovery and healing as both individual and relational processes.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where they can share what brings them to therapy at their own pace. The first session is an opportunity to talk about your concerns, relationship or family dynamics, goals for therapy, and what you hope will change.

Beth will work with you to understand the bigger picture and begin developing a treatment approach that fits your unique needs. You do not need to have everything figured out before your first session—Beth will meet you where you are and help you identify the next steps together.
