Great to meet you!

I have a Masters of Science in Counseling Degree and have been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor for 23 years, with extensive experience with adolescents and young adults. When appropriate, I include collaboration with parents and families of younger clients to include everyone in supporting the client. Some of the areas I have experience in are anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief and management of anger/emotions.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have a client centered approach to therapy. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is key to trust, which is necessary to bring about change. We will work at your pace with the concerns that you bring to therapy. Everyone has strengths and skills they are already using to get through life and those existing strengths can be used to adjust your skills allowing you to break old patterns and reach your current goals. I use humor, patience, empathy and curiosity to encourage and support you.

What you can expect from our first session
