Beth Tecchio

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey. I received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from William Paterson University and her Masters Degree From Columbia School of Social Work in New York. I have over 25 years of experience working in a school district as a School Social Worker and Director of Special Services. I have worked with children, families, adolescents and adults in various settings which include, schools, outpatient therapy and Psychiatric Emergency Services. ​

I believe that change happens when people are ready to heal and are given the guidance that they need. Change also happens when we draw upon our own strengths and realize the potential to change in order to live a fulfilling happy life. Healing is a collaborative effort by creating goals in treatment and working together to reach those goals in order to be able to be productive in all areas of our lives. While in treatment we will work together to get past the obstacles or issues that have been preventing you from moving forward.

I provide compassionate, developmentally appropriate therapy for children and adolescents, creating a safe space where they can express themselves, build resilience, and learn healthy coping skills. Whether your child is dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, behavioral issues, or adjusting to a life transition, we’ll work together to support their emotional well-being and personal growth.

I also provide individual therapy for adults in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and work toward building insight, resilience, and renewed confidence.
