Great to meet you!

My path into counseling has been guided by a deep curiosity about how people grow, heal, and relate to one another. I hold a PhD in counseling with a specialization in couples and family therapy, and I’m licensed in both Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. I offer services in English and Spanish.

I provide a warm, supportive space where individuals, couples, and families can feel safe to slow down, reflect, and explore what matters most.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative, and grounded in a systemic perspective, recognizing how relationships and context shape each person’s experience. I use a strengths-based, client-centered approach, working alongside clients to identify goals and build meaningful change.

I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, solution-focused, and family systems therapies, while remaining culturally responsive and flexible to each client’s needs. Above all, I prioritize a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship as the foundation for growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to be a welcoming, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know one another.

I typically invite you to share what brings you to therapy, while I ask gentle questions to better understand your experiences, concerns, and goals. We may also review important background information and discuss what you hope to gain from our work together.

I will explain my approach to therapy, including how I integrate different techniques to meet your needs, and answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. Most importantly, the first session is about building comfort and trust so you can feel supported as we begin your journey toward clarity, resilience, and balance.
