Great to meet you!

Great to meet you!

Have you ever found yourself repeating a behavior you know isn't helping you, even when you're determined to change? I'm Beth, and I help adults make sense of the patterns behind addiction, compulsive behaviors, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Together, we'll explore how past experiences and deeply held beliefs may be shaping your choices today, so you can begin making changes that feel meaningful and lasting.

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with over 17 years of experience in mental & behavioral health services and child welfare.

My approach to therapy

I use a collaborative, practical approach grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), helping you identify the core beliefs and thought patterns that influence how you feel and respond. We'll explore how earlier experiences may have shaped those beliefs, recognize what keeps unhelpful cycles going, and practice new ways of thinking and responding. My style is warm, direct, and nonjudgmental, with room for both compassion and honest reflection.

I believe meaningful change happens when we feel understood and supported while also being encouraged to explore new perspectives and challenge patterns that may be keeping us stuck.

Together, we'll explore what's working, what's not, and what meaningful change looks like for you, at a pace that respects your readiness and goals.

What you can expect from me

You don't have to feel ashamed of the things you're struggling with to begin making changes. Whether you're working through addiction, a compulsive behavior, parenting stress, or a difficult relationship transition, we'll start by understanding what's happening beneath the surface. You can expect thoughtful questions, practical tools, and a space where we can talk honestly about what's working, what's not, and what you'd like to change.

You can expect a genuine conversation rather than a rigid question-and-answer session. I'll listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you begin making connections between your experiences and current challenges. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals and determine how we can best work toward them at a pace that feels right for you.

My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself.
