Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Bethany and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Social Work from Baylor University. My professional background includes working in both school settings and a community-based counseling agency, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, and families through a variety of life challenges.

I specialize in working with young adults with experience in work with children and families, drawing on approaches that are solution-focused, strength-based, and rooted in compassion. My work integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) to support clients in developing emotional awareness, building resilience, and making meaningful progress toward their goals.

Whether I’m working with a child navigating big emotions, a teen exploring their identity, a caregiver seeking support, or a young adult navigating what is next, I bring a collaborative and relational approach to therapy—meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them in the process of growth and healing.

Outside of the therapy room, you can find me spending time with my dog, getting outdoors, teaching and taking barre classes, or on the hunt for the best matcha in town. I value staying grounded and caring for myself—and I bring that same energy into the work I do with clients.

My approach to therapy

I believe that change is possible for everyone. While transitions can be challenging, they also provide opportunities for growth, transformation, and empowerment. My goal is to help individuals develop self-awareness, build resilience, and gain the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges in a way that is both practical and emotionally sustainable.

I take a strengths-based and solution-focused approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. I believe that every person already possesses the capacity for growth and healing—sometimes, they just need support in recognizing their strengths and using them effectively.

At the heart of my practice are the values of empowerment, self-awareness, resilience, and autonomy. Our experiences shape us, but they do not define us—we have the ability to learn from them, grow through them, and move forward with strength and purpose. My role is to provide guidance, encouragement, and evidence-based strategies to help clients take meaningful steps toward their personal goals.

What you can expect from me

No matter your age or life stage, our work together will focus on helping you:

  • Understand yourself more fully—your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—and how they’re connected
  • Build confidence and resilience to face life’s challenges with greater clarity and strength
  • Develop healthy coping skills that support emotional and social well-being
  • Feel empowered by your story, not defined by it
  • Create meaningful, achievable goals and take steps toward lasting change

Together, we’ll work in a supportive, collaborative space where growth feels possible—and where you can move toward your most authentic and empowered self.
