Bethany Dollar

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed in the state of Georgia with over 30 years of professional work experience in all aspects of mental health. I have a diverse background which includes working in an inpatient crisis stabilization hospital for 12 years, having my own private practice for 11 years, and now embarking on online therapy. I believe in utilizing all of my experiences as well as my expertise in serving all types of populations, ages, in which my new endeavors require of me.

My approach to therapy is open, honest, nonjudgmental and utilizing empathy. I approach the therapeutic journey as a guide reinforcing safety and understanding. I feel this is important due to the vulnerability one may feel when entering the therapeutic process. I feel that therapy can be an enlightening experience for learning new coping skills and gaining insight into changing the course of the path in life while also learning healthy ways of coping with current and past life stressors.

I want each of my clients to have a sense of a beginning with hopefulness, empowerment, and insight and continue feeling that goals of treatment are being accomplished in each session. Also, having a sense of being comfortable in expressing the most vulnerable feelings and thoughts that will lead to empowerment that is reinforced within each session. A feeling of accomplishment for life changes will be accomplished within each session and goals to accomplish in following sessions.
