Great to meet you!

I have over 15 years of professional counseling experience working primarily with elementary and middle school students and their families. My approach to counseling is to collaboratively identify unsolved problems and match them to solutions while building needing skills. I do this by practicing relaxation strategies, reframing negative thoughts, identifying executive functioning tools, etc.

My approach to therapy

During sessions, I let clients know what to expect in terms of the session format, involvement of parents, and expected length of treatment. I allow for a balance of client centered sharing and planned skill building time.

What you can expect from me

After a first session, clients and their families will be familiar with my approach to counseling, expected length of treatment, and what a typical session might look like.
