Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and you don't have to navigate it alone. I specialize in anxiety, depression, substance use and addiction, bipolar disorder, and family conflict, while also supporting adults experiencing stress, sleep difficulties, panic disorders, grief and loss, anger management, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and life transitions. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered to explore what has brought you to therapy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Substance Use Disorder Counselor, I tailor treatment to your unique experiences, recognizing that healing isn't one-size-fits-all. Whether you're working through past trauma, rebuilding relationships, or learning healthier ways to cope, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you while building on your strengths and supporting meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I take a strengths-based, trauma-informed, harm reduction approach that balances compassion with evidence-based care. My work draws from Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help you better understand longstanding patterns while developing practical tools for everyday life. I believe therapy is both a place for insight and action—exploring the experiences that have shaped you while building new ways to respond with greater flexibility, self-awareness, and self-compassion. Together, we'll create an approach that reflects your goals, values, and lived experiences rather than forcing you into a predetermined treatment plan.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a collaborative, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. During our first sessions, I'll take time to understand your story, what you're hoping to change, and what feels most important to you. My priority is helping you leave each session feeling heard, respected, and supported while building the confidence to move toward the life you want. Therapy is a partnership, and I'll meet you with curiosity, honesty, and compassion every step of the way.
