Great to meet you!

I have spent 20 years in nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and the living rooms of families trying to figure out what comes next for someone they love. I know what it feels like to sit with serious illness and loss, and I know how to be present with it without flinching. I am direct and warm, and I will not waste your time. I work best with people who are ready to be honest about what is hard, even if they are not sure yet how to say it.

My approach to therapy

I draw upon humanistic, narrative, existential, and solutions-focused frameworks, which is a long way of saying: I start where you are. I am not attached to a single method. I pay attention to what you are telling me, not just with words, and I adjust. My goal is to help you find language for what you are carrying and some direction for where to take it next. Sessions feel like a real conversation, grounded in your lived experience.

What you can expect from me

We will spend most of the first session with me listening. I will ask about your situation, what brought you here, and what matters most to you right now. I will not push you to share more than you are ready to. By the end, we will have a sense of whether we are a good fit and what working together might look like.
