Great to meet you!

I am a Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Social Work, dedicated to helping individuals heal from trauma and build meaningful, fulfilling lives. I specialize in the treatment of PTSD, complex trauma, depression, and anxiety, using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and veterans, and I am attuned to the unique challenges each population may face.

My clinical training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These modalities allow me to support clients in processing difficult experiences, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, and developing practical coping strategies.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard and understood. Whether you are working through past trauma or navigating current stressors, my goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and move toward lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming, low-pressure space focused on getting to know them and what brings them to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant background, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You’re always free to share at your own pace—there’s no expectation to dive into anything before you feel ready.

I’ll also ask some questions to better understand your experiences and help identify patterns or areas we may want to focus on. Together, we’ll begin to outline goals and discuss what approaches might be most helpful for you.

Just as importantly, the first session is an opportunity for you to get a sense of me and how I work. Building a sense of safety and trust is essential, and we’ll move forward collaboratively in a way that feels comfortable and supportive for you.
