Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in helping individuals tackle issues relating to anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, stress and chronic pain/illness. In sessions I am empathetic, culturally sensitive, and non-judgmental as my goal is to create a safe space for you where you can explore your difficulties and challenges.

I am a graduate of Columbia University and obtained my clinical training at renowned NYC hospitals including NYU Langone Medical Center and Bellevue. I am experienced in providing therapeutic and assessment services in both Spanish and English. I can provide teletherapy in 42 states via PSYPACT.

My approach to therapy

I take a comprehensive whole person approach to therapy, taking into account a person's experiences, values, family of origin, culture, relationships and lifestyle. I use a goal-oriented, CBT approach and incorporate mindfulness when helpful in order to help people identify and modify unhealthy thoughts and behaviors, teach and improve coping skills, foster resilience and in turn achieve the outcome they want.

What you can expect from me

I aim to create an environment that encourages you to reflect on your emotions and recurrent patterns. I hope to empower you to feel that you can explore even your most challenging moments and to look at these without judgment but with curiosity.
