Great to meet you!

I am a skilled therapist with 14 years of experience in treating a variety of concerns.

I have a Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and specialized training in treating symptoms of trauma and substance use.

While I am trained in many interventions, my primary focus is to understand what my clients want to work on and what they find most helpful. When the working relationship is strong, the interventions become much more effective.

My approach to therapy

My therapy toolbox is large so sessions may incorporate a variety of interventions such as:

  • EMDR
  • Parts work
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Meditation

To generalize though, the main issue I treat is your internal barriers to you living the life you want. For some people that is trauma, for others, it's old habits or social strategies that used to help us get our needs met. Clients should be prepared to work on unraveling their past, building compassion for the protective parts of themselves, and welcoming the gifts of their present.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is work, so at times, sessions may feel draining or disappointing. Overall, though, my clients leave our appointments feeling heard, respected, and hopeful.
