I am a Licensed Indepent Clinical Social Worker. I have received both my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Texas State University in the field of Social Work.
I have worked with adults, adolescents and children in both the hospital, school settings and well as private practice. My experience includes working with persons of varied ethnic, religious and family backgrounds.

My personal counseling style is straightforward and compassionate. I enjoy being a counselor and have always had an interest in others' personal life stories. I am an EMDR trained therapist and have expertise in helping clients overcome trauma and move forward with life.
I feel that it is important for clients to understand the therapy process, I like to offer information and education about what we are discussing in the room. I can be directive at times and offer suggestions for homework outside of sessions.
