Great to meet you!

My ideal client is a young adult or parent who feels emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or out of balance due to life transitions, parenting stress, trauma, grief, or past experiences. They may struggle with emotional regulation, boundaries, or repeating unhealthy patterns and want to better understand why these patterns persist. They are seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental space with practical tools they can apply in daily life. Their goals include healing from past wounds, improving relationships, building emotional resilience, and gaining clarity and confidence to move forward with intention and purpose.

I specialize in working with young adults and parents who are navigating life transitions, parenting stress, trauma, grief, and emotional overwhelm. I offer a supportive, structured therapeutic space where clients can explore patterns that impact their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships while developing practical, real-life coping skills.

My approach to therapy

My mission is to provide every individual who crosses my path with practical tools and insight to develop, improve, or define their own personal guide for change. I believe meaningful healing begins with awareness, both personal and societal. By acknowledging the impact of social change, lived experiences, and environmental factors, I strive to meet clients where they are with empathy, respect, and cultural humility.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space. This time is focused on getting to know you—your concerns, goals, strengths, and what led you to seek support. Betty will ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and work with you to begin identifying patterns and areas where change feels most needed.

You’ll leave the session with a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process, a sense of direction, and initial tools or insights to support your next steps. The pace is collaborative and respectful, allowing you to share only what you feel comfortable sharing.
