Great to meet you!

Beverly Glavan, PMHNP, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, individualized care for adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, and other mental health challenges. She takes time to understand each client’s symptoms, personal history, lifestyle, and treatment goals so that care feels collaborative rather than one-size-fits-all.

Beverly’s approach combines thoughtful psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, education, and supportive guidance. She values creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, ask questions, and take an active role in decisions about their care.

Her goal is to help clients better understand what they are experiencing, identify practical treatment options, and develop a plan that supports both emotional well-being and day-to-day functioning.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe treatment works best when clients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in decisions about their mental health. I take time to understand the whole person—not just a diagnosis—including symptoms, life experiences, relationships, stressors, and personal goals.

I use evidence-based psychiatric care and thoughtful medication management when appropriate, while also considering lifestyle, coping strategies, and overall well-being. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where we can work together to develop a treatment plan that feels realistic, comfortable, and aligned with each client’s needs.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel welcoming, collaborative, and unhurried. We’ll spend time getting to know what has been going on, what brought you to care, what has or hasn’t helped in the past, and what you would like to feel differently moving forward.

My goal is for you to leave the first visit with a clearer understanding of your symptoms and a personalized treatment plan. Depending on your needs, this may include medication options, lifestyle recommendations, supportive strategies, and next steps for ongoing care. I want clients to feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions throughout the process.
