Beverly Hooks

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has many years of experience working in the social work field, supporting individuals of various ages with diverse backgrounds. I believe effective therapy begins with understanding the whole person. I provide culturally responsive, identity-affirming care that honors each client's unique background, values, and lived experiences, creating a therapeutic space that is safe and collaborative for each individual's growth and healing.

I take an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs, strengths and goals. Drawing from a variety of evidence-based approaches, I help clients develop practical skills and tools they can use beyond our sessions. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel empowered to navigate life's challenges and move forward toward meaningful growth, healing, and lasting change.

In our work together, I strive to create a compassionate, nonjudgemental space where you can feel safe to be your authentic self. Whether you need a space to share openly, reflect, laugh, cry, or incorporate prayer into our work if that feels meaningful to you, you will be met with acceptance and respect.
