Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience helping people navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and the weight of life transitions. Many of the clients I work with are functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, exhausted, or disconnected on the inside.I offer a space that is warm, real, and nonjudgmental—where you don’t have to perform or explain everything perfectly. I’m engaged, honest, and relational in my style, and I believe therapy works best when you feel truly understood. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling a little more grounded, a little less alone, and more clear about what comes next.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and practical. We’ll look at how your past experiences, current stress, and nervous system patterns may be shaping what you feel today—whether that’s anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty trusting yourself or others.Together, we’ll build insight while also working on real tools for coping and change: grounding skills, emotional regulation, self-compassion, healthier boundaries, and ways to feel more steady in daily life.I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. We’ll move at your pace, focus on what matters most to you, and adjust the work as you grow. The goal is not just to understand your pain, but to help you live with more freedom and stability.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance to slow down and take a breath. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you want help with right now. I’ll ask questions to understand your story, but you won’t be pressured to share anything before you’re ready.

We’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic, and I’ll usually offer a few grounding or coping strategies you can start using immediately—especially if anxiety or emotional overwhelm has been intense.

Most of all, the first session is about helping you feel safe, supported, and clear about what therapy with me will look like going forward.
