Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Beverly! With over 20 years of experience in the helping profession, we’ll work together in a supportive and compassionate space focused on healing and growth.

I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including private practice, community mental health, inpatient treatment centers, schools, and correctional facilities. My experience includes individual, group, and family therapy with clients ages six through adulthood.

Together, we can address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship and family challenges, abuse, self-esteem, and life stressors. I also have specialized training in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, and grief.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, you can expect a friendly, nonjudgmental, and interactive counseling style that focuses on your strengths. We’ll create a space rooted in respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

Our approach may include client-centered, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral (CBT) strategies, tailored to your unique needs. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work as a team to set goals that feel meaningful and achievable for your life.

Positive change is always possible, and together we’ll take steps toward the life you want at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another and talk through what brought you to counseling and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. We’ll begin identifying goals and discussing what support will feel most helpful moving forward.

You’ll have space to ask any questions so we can make sure you feel comfortable with the process and our work together.

Taking the first step takes courage, and we’ll move forward together one step at a time. I look forward to working with you!
