Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina with over 20 years of experience in the human services field and 6 years as a practicing clinician. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. I believe in meeting clients where they are—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—while creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for healing and growth.

I take a holistic view of mental health, considering all aspects of a person's well-being including emotional, physical, social, and spiritual needs. Whether you're navigating life transitions, coping with anxiety or depression, or working through trauma, I am here to walk alongside you with empathy, compassion, and encouragement.

My strengths include active listening, being non-judgmental, and having a strong knowledge of community resources to help support your journey. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and together we’ll create a plan that fits your unique needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, holistic, and grounded in empathy. I believe in meeting clients where they are—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—without judgment. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, and Solution-Focused techniques to help clients build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and reach their goals.

I understand that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I tailor each session to your unique needs and life experiences. Whether you’re facing anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, or a life transition, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow.

Ultimately, therapy with me is a collaborative process where we explore your strengths, work through barriers, and create meaningful change—together.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave our sessions feeling heard, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotions, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and build practical tools to manage life’s challenges. You’ll gain clarity, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward personal goals at a pace that feels right for you.

Together, we will explore what matters most to you—whether it's healing from the past, improving relationships, managing stress or anxiety, or simply finding more balance and meaning in your life. My hope is that you walk away from each session feeling stronger, more grounded, and equipped to make choices that align with your values and well-being.
