Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisor designation and more than 35 years of experience, and I am the owner and primary clinician of Above All that you Ask or Think, LLC, a practice built on the belief that every person deserves care that honors their whole self: their culture, their environment, and their capacity to grow. My work is rooted in cultural proficiency and a deep respect for the communities and systems that have shaped you. I come to this work with directness and warmth (what you see is what you get), and I hold firmly to the values of Belonging, Respect, and Dignity as the foundation of every therapeutic relationship. Whether you are navigating trauma, addiction, grief, family stress, or the pressures of living in a rapidly changing world, I am here as a genuine partner in that process.

My approach to therapy

My practice is integrative and dynamic, bringing together the best of evidence-based approaches with the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience-informed trauma care. I draw on Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and strength-based methods, all tailored to where you are and what you need. I believe healing does not happen in isolation from the world around you, which is why I bring an environmental wellness lens to every session: your relationships, your community, and the systems you live within all matter. My goal is not just to help you cope, but to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and a sense of your own power to shape your future.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is your space to share what brings you here and what you hope to work toward. I start slowly and intentionally, because trust takes time and I want you to feel safe before we go anywhere deep. You will not be rushed, and you will not be judged — just heard, with full dignity and respect. By the end of our first conversation, we will have a clearer sense of where to begin and how we can work together in a way that truly fits you. My hope is that you leave feeling a little lighter and more hopeful than when you arrived.
