Great to meet you!

Welcome!

I’m Beverly Zimmerman—a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges with more ease, clarity, and confidence. I know how overwhelming it can feel to carry so much on your own, and I want you to know—you don’t have to.

My work is grounded in deep compassion and real connection. I specialize in supporting individuals who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, body image distress, and life transitions. I have been in your shoes, and I know how lost, lonely, and desperate that can feel. Whether you’re feeling stuck, burned out, or just not yourself lately, I offer a supportive space where you can take a breath, show up just as you are, and begin the process of meaningful change.

Therapy with me isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. Together, we’ll work toward creating the kind of life and inner peace that feels more like you.

My approach to therapy

My Approach to Therapy

My approach is deeply relational, intuitive, and rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to trust we will be seen and heard exactly as we are. I work collaboratively with clients to gently explore what’s beneath the surface—what’s driving the patterns, pain, or self-doubt—and help create space for clarity, resilience, and self-trust.

I specialize in trauma recovery, body image distress, anxiety, and addictive patterns, using a blend of evidence-based practices (like CBT and TFCBT) with a holistic, mind-body perspective. Whether you’re navigating a personal crisis, long-standing self-worth challenges, or seeking a deeper connection to yourself, our work will be paced, purposeful, and centered around what truly matters to you.

Together, we’ll focus on creating sustainable change—helping you access your inner strength, let go of what no longer serves you, and step into a more peaceful, empowered version of your life.

What you can expect from me

What You Can Expect

Working with me means having someone in your corner who sees your potential—even when you can’t yet. I’ll meet you with compassion, but I won’t sugarcoat things. I believe in creating a safe space where you can be real, reflect honestly, and start making changes that last.

Our work together will help you get clear on what’s keeping you stuck and give you practical tools to move forward. I’ll support you in identifying patterns, challenging unhelpful beliefs, and building the kind of confidence and self-trust that doesn’t fade when life gets hard.

You can expect a combination of insight, action, ,accountability and support.. My goal is to help you not just feel better—but be better, in ways that feel authentic, sustainable, and deeply empowering.
