Great to meet you!

My name is Bianca, and I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor I appreciate you taking this first step, and I know it can sometimes feel daunting to begin the therapy process. In my work, I aim to create a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their concerns at their own pace. I work with individuals on issues such as anxiety, depression, relationships, stress, life transitions, and my approach is integrative, evidence-based, client-centered. If you’d like, we can schedule an initial consultation to discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and see whether working together feels like a good fit. Please feel free to email me to discuss availability and next steps.I look forward to connecting with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each person’s needs. I aim to create a space where clients feel understood, challenged when helpful, and supported in making meaningful changes. I see therapy as both a place for insight and a place for action — understanding patterns is important, but so is building tools that improve day-to-day life.

My style is warm, direct, and nonjudgmental. I work to meet clients where they are while helping them move toward the goals they want for themselves. Depending on the client, sessions may focus on emotional processing, problem-solving, skill-building, relationship dynamics, or exploring deeper long-standing patterns.

I often draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. I adapt these approaches based on what resonates most with each client rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

I work with clients experiencing concerns such as:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Depression and mood challenges
  • Relationship and communication issues
  • Life transitions and identity exploration
  • Burnout and work-related stress
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Trauma and emotional regulation

I value authenticity and believe the therapeutic relationship itself is an important part of healing. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and feel more connected to themselves and others.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to feel welcoming, conversational, and focused on understanding what brings them to therapy. My priority is creating a space where clients feel safe to speak openly without judgment or pressure to “have it all figured out.”

During the first session, we’ll usually talk about:

  • What prompted you to seek therapy now
  • Current challenges, stressors, or symptoms
  • Personal history and important life experiences
  • Relationships, work, family, or other areas impacting your well-being
  • What you hope to gain from therapy

I also use the first session to learn about your strengths, coping styles, and what has or hasn’t been helpful in the past. Together, we begin identifying goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. For some clients, goals may involve reducing anxiety, improving communication, processing difficult experiences, building confidence, or creating healthier routines and boundaries.

My approach in early sessions is collaborative and paced according to your comfort level. Some people are ready to dive deeply into emotions right away, while others need time to build trust first — both are completely okay. I aim to create an environment that is supportive, grounded, and practical, where clients leave sessions feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction.
