Great to meet you!

Hi there,

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of Mental Health experience, working with specialized populations such as veterans, military families, clients who are high-risk for suicide and diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and or major depressive disorder. My experiences include working in multiple clinical settings at the state and federal level and several community counseling agencies.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My area of specialty is in treating adults and seniors experiencing difficulty with adjustment disorders, managing stress, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement. I utilize multiple evidenced based approaches tailored to the individual needs of the clients, such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness and strengths-based treatments.

What you can expect from our first session

Knowing how to ask for help and when to seek counseling can be challenging, so congratulations on taking the first steps on your journey towards wellbeing. I bring to you knowledge, authenticity, compassion and support. My hope is that you will walk away empowered, with a greater since of self and the knowledge to overcome whatever obstacles life may throw at you.
